New shoes...

well... the title of this blog could be considered misleading, because quite frankly, I don't think I have talked about shoes at all so far. But... that shall be changed. It is time to shop for some spring shoes.

My beloved Kenneth Cole zebra mocs are getting pretty bald. The fur has worn off. Pretty sad, isn't it? I can't even remember when I bought them, but I think they are at least 5 years old. My blue mocs... not presentable anymore, my Kenneth Cole boots that I got last fall unfortunately didn't last, first time I am ever not happy with KC, too. So I am wearing sneakers. NOT a look I like, but alas, I am stuck right now. Unfortch it is not quite time for sandals yet.

Anyway... I was browsing, windowshopping so to speak. And got side-tracked by sheer beauty. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE beautiful high heels and actually own an amazing number of very pretty, fashionable, elegant, completely unpractical shoes, but honestly... can you see me wearing this to my class at the unemployment office? Or attending the bake sale at Trouble #1's school?
Or how about this one?
Okay, let's think a bit more practical....

Oh wait... there was that price tag of... well, never mind.

Anyway, I will leave you with a few more lovelies and go off and find something a little bit more suitable to my life and my checkbook. Man... that's no fun. Have a good one.

14 more to go

remember that no shopping thing? well.. I sort of fell of the waggon on that one, couldn't quite resist a great sale and a few other bargains, but I haven't actually USED any of the new stuff. But, I am now up to LO 86 and should get done with my original goal of 100 by April 1, as I had planned.

I am also still waiting on two packages which are probably circling the globe for the third time by now. My MIL sent me a goody package and the package with my PaperPosies January&February Kits still hasn't gotten yet. I am going to be really ticked off if neither package gets here.

Other than that, I am trying very hard to pretend that I am not sick, but I think by tomorrow I might have to concede to the fact that I am. I feel crappy and keep coughing, which in turn has brought on a migraine.... and my meds aren't really working, because I keep coughing.

On that note,
Have a good one.

Where, oh where....

could my ribbon stash be? Where would you be hiding if you were my ribbon? I am sure I packed it very safely so it wouldn't get tangled (it usually hangs on a hanger), but now I can't find it. Ughhhh.

Off to search some more.

Have a good one.

Ahhhh, feels good to scrap....

Yes, indeed, I managed to get a few pages done. I don't know what it is about my color choices, they seem a bit off, but then, maybe I should just claim that they are "unique"? For the first LO I used BG on teal colored CS. It looks much brighter IRL, not as blue as in the picture. Kind of odd, but I do like it.

The second LO is with Scenic Route PP and Bazzill CS. I also used some velvet CBX stickers. Again... kind of odd, but I like it.

Last but not least, a LO for a challenge over at PaperPosies. The challenge was to use 6 items picked by six different people: felt, stitching, 10 of something, flowers, 4 or more pictures, and pins (as in sewing or hat or safety...) So, this is what I came up with.

So.... feels good to be back in the swing of things scrapping wise. I still have a bunch of boxes to unpack, get things organized, furniture to buy.... but, hey, priorities, I tell you, priorities.

With that said,
have a good one.

I want to scrap!

Good thing there is no sound on this thing.... otherwise you could hear me whine. I finally put my new scrapdesk up, got a few things organized, put together a new book shelf (can you tell I went to IKEA?) and things are sort of starting to look like there might be a chance for me to get some scrapping in this weekend. But.... that's another 4 days!!!! And I am having this serious itch to shop but with that spending freeze that I put myself on, I am trying to be good. I think I am 25 or so LOs short of my goal.

On the other hand, I am cleaning out some of my "stuff". So, for my German readers, if you are interested in receiving a package of older, but still great for inspiration, Stampin'Up Idea books, mini-cattys, and idea sheets, for 5 Euros (that includes Hermes shipping) they are yours. I think there might be 3 or 4 packages available. Send me an e-mail.

Have a good one.

Follow-up of the RAK

Since I have yet to unpack my scrap supplies, nor had time to scrap anything anyway, nor have any other LOs that I could post right now, here is an adorable LO by one of my German scrapping friends. Remember all that fun felt and flower stuff I found at the dollar store? Well, here is what Mirija did with it. Isn't it cute?

Now I need to head to IKEA, find a table and hopefully be able to get my supplies unpacked by this weekend. I am having serious scrap withdrawls.

Have a good one.

I'm BAAAACK!

Oye.... I guess I should be happy for not having TV or internet/phone until today because I managed to get a lot of things unpacked, cleaned, put away, whatever, but it was hard, I tell you. I still don't have regular TV, but at least Trouble #1 and & #2 can watch movies now.

So, I need to catch up on my e-mail, on other blogs, message boards, etc., etc.....

Have a good one.
